2005 Bloomington Geometry Workshop

The geometry group at Indiana University
will again host an April workshop with the help of
the National Science Foundation
and the Department of Mathematics.
The aim of the gathering is to foster interaction among mathematicians
having diverse geometric interests.

The workshop will begin on Friday, April 8, at 4:00 pm with
a colloquium lecture:

restaurants near the University, with a wide variety of cuisines
including: Afghan, Burmese, Eritrean, Indian, Moroccan, Thai, and Tibetan.
Most have fare amenable to
vegetarian diets, and one can find a decent cup of
coffee in town.
- Entertainment: The internationally recognized Indiana University
School of Music presents Mozart's opera
The Magic Flute
on both Friday and Saturday nights (4/8, 4/9).

Location and Directions:
The mathematics department is housed in Rawles Hall, the building just west of the
intersection of 3rd Street and Woodlawn Avenue on the north side of 3rd Street.
All talks will take place in Swain Hall East, Room 140, the building
immediately west of Rawles Hall.
