Bloomington Geometry Workshop

The Indiana University Mathematics Department will host
a gathering of geometers on the weekend of April 13-15, 2001.
The purpose of the gathering is to foster interaction between
mathematicians whose combined interests span a large swath
of the geometric spectrum.

Location:

The mathematics department is housed in Rawles Hall
at the intersection of 3rd Street and Woodlawn Avenue.

All talks will take place in room 140 of Swain Hall East,
the building that is immediately west of Rawles Hall.

The Best of Bloomington Theatre:

The internationally recognized Indiana University School of Music
will present Leonard Bernstein's Candide on both Friday and Saturday night,
April 13 and April 14. On those same nights the excellent University Theatre
will present Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance.

Restaurants and Coffee:

The restaurants near the University serve a wide variety of cuisines including:
Afghan, Ethiopian, Indian, Moroccan, Thai, and Tibetan.
Many restaurants have fare amenable to vegetarian diets,
and one can find a decent cup of coffee in town.
